Emotional Fear

Ok here we have a writing competition that I will not be writing for, I will add the example but this time I am going to be judging.

At the moment this is just a one time thing, later one I may advance it to more then one, and may make more but this is just a starter thing for me.

Rules
1. You're entry must be written by you, and only you. You can have other people check it over of course, but over all you must have written the story by yourself.

2. Do not harrass other people's writing's. If you do this I will not even bother to judge your writing.

3. Put Entry on your own writing page This is just so that this page won't become clustered

4. Add a word count That way I can know if I will need to free up more then 2 minutes to read your story.

5. Have fun! hopefully you follow this rule, along with the others.

Theme

The theme of this is simple, it is excatly like the title of the page says. If you are entering you are to write about emotional fear. This means no, death, blood, injury shalt happen to the main character. Feel free to have it happen to other things to strike fear into the main character but only if you can do it.

When I say emotional fear, I mean like someone being afraid of the boogie man, there is nothing to be scared of, but they think there is. In other words, the way that you would have become scared when you were young, you are to write something like that.

Requirement
Follow the rules

Inbetween 8-50 lines for a poem.

2006-01-14 [Burning Inside]: Ok well here you go my very first contest, I hope that people join ^^

2006-01-14 [Mister Saint]: Hey Burning. What sort of word processing program do you have?

2006-01-14 [Burning Inside]: you mean for making my stories? or what? sorry sorta tired can't think

2006-01-14 [Mister Saint]: Like Microsoft Word? Works? Wordpad?

2006-01-14 [Burning Inside]: WTF....why was I writing free for fear....and you're for your....maybe I should have maybe this tomorrow but oh well its fixed up now

2006-01-14 [Burning Inside]: I use Microsoft Word, y?

2006-01-14 [Mister Saint]: Do me a big big favor, and run this through a spell check. It really makes it worlds easier than doing it manually. ^_^

2006-01-14 [Burning Inside]: ^_^ I did, its set to Canadian english, unless you were talking about the page....then its just pitiful little mistakes I made....but with the story I had run multiple checks with the program, manually and everything, there shouldn't even really be grammar mistakes....if so I am amazed

2006-01-14 [Mister Saint]: *nod* Mkay. ^^

2006-01-14 [Burning Inside]: yea no the page is fixed up from a quick little check manually, the story shouldn't have any errors....so if its a little different than what you're used to, but it would be the same when I am reading something from like Europe or the U.S....its a little different

2006-01-14 [Mister Saint]: I'm going to try to get someone who can illustrate those differences to me, and maybe turn them into a tutorial page on Flipside. It'll be pertinent to know just what these differences are.

2006-01-14 [Burning Inside]: well I would....but I don't know all of the differences

2006-01-14 [Mister Saint]: I'll ask around.

2006-01-14 [Burning Inside]: well if you and me can free up the time we could figure it out....but that would mean going through like every word in the dictionary....which wouldn't be fun

2006-01-14 [Mister Saint]: I highly doubt that every word in the dictionary is different, burning, and I'm betting that syntax and grammatical structure is exactly the same.

2006-01-14 [Burning Inside]: possibly, but I was meaning that you would have to go through the dictionary to find out what words were different

2006-01-14 [Mister Saint]: I can probably figure out when a word is purposefully spelled a certain way as opposed to misspelled, I think. ^_^ I'm sure I can find someone to donate some time.

2006-01-14 [Burning Inside]: well theres always the basics with Colour for us, and color for u, and a bunch of other I just can't remember them off of the top of my head
